Thionylamide, SO(NH₂)₂

Thionylamide, SO(NH₂)₂, the amide of sulphurous acid, is unknown, although indications of the existence of an unstable imido- sulphinamide, NH(SO.NH₂)₂, have been observed in the product of the interaction of thionyl chloride and liquid ammonia.
