Sulphur Ionization Energy

The Sulphur Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Sulphur.
S -> S+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Sulphur is:
SN+ -> S(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

S -> S1+ = 999.6 kJ/mol = 239.14 Kcal/mol
S1+ -> S2+ = 2251 kJ/mol = 538.52 Kcal/mol
S2+ -> S3+ = 3361 kJ/mol = 804.07 Kcal/mol
S3+ -> S4+ = 4564 kJ/mol = 1091.87 Kcal/mol
S4+ -> S5+ = 7013 kJ/mol = 1677.75 Kcal/mol
S5+ -> S6+ = 8495 kJ/mol = 2032.30 Kcal/mol
S6+ -> S7+ = 27106 kJ/mol = 6484.69 Kcal/mol
S7+ -> S8+ = 31669 kJ/mol = 7576.32 Kcal/mol
S8+ -> S9+ = 36578 kJ/mol = 8750.72 Kcal/mol
S9+ -> S10+ = 43138 kJ/mol = 10320.10 Kcal/mol
