Thiotrithiazyl Thiocyanate, N3S4CNS
Thiotrithiazyl Thiocyanate, N3S4CNS, is obtained by adding a solution of potassium thiocyanate to an ice-cold solution of thiotrithiazyl chloride or nitrate. It forms lustrous bronze leaflets, readily soluble in benzene and chloroform.
Muthmann and Seitter regard these thiotrithiazyl compounds as having the constitutional formula ![]() |
