Hydroxylamine-isodisulphonic Acid, NH(SO₃H)O.SO₃H

Hydroxylamine-isodisulphonic Acid, NH(SO₃H)O.SO₃H, may be prepared from the corresponding trisulphonate by hydrolysis with a weak acid. In the presence of hydrogen chloride the SO₃H-group attached to the nitrogen atom may be eliminated, whereby hydroxyl-amine-isomonosulphonic acid, NH₂.O.SO₃H, is produced.
