Hydroxylamine Dithionate, (NH2OH)2.H2S2O6

Hydroxylamine Dithionate, (NH2OH)2.H2S2O6, is obtained by the action of hydroxylamine sulphate on barium dithionate. At 120° C. it is converted into hydroxylamine sulphate and sulphur dioxide. It is isomeric with ammonium perdisulphate. Hydroxylamine amidosulphonate, NH2OH.NH2.SO3H, is isomeric with ammonium oxyamidosulphonate, NH(OH)SO3NH4, and with hydrazine sulphate, N2H4.H2SO4.
